Eligibility criteria

To qualify for the 2025 edition of the Discover Canada Cultural Exchange Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Linguistic competence: Must be able to communicate in English; however, no official English test (IELTS/TOEFL) is required.

Travel experience: Prior international travel is a plus but not required.

Interest in Culture: Demonstrated enthusiasm for Canadian history, culture or social media content creation.
